How to Add or Modify Project Information

Whether you're kicking off a new Design or Installation Project or updating details on one already in progress, keeping project information accurate helps everyone working on it stay aligned.

In this article, you'll learn how to create a new project and edit an existing one's information.

Creating a New Project

  1. Go to Design Projects or Installation Projects in the left-hand menu bar.
  2. Click + New Design (or the equivalent button for Installation Projects).
  3. Enter the Project Name. This is required.
  4. Set the Project Stage. This is required.
  5. Fill in the rest as needed: Custom Project ID, Designer, Project Manager, Target Start Date, Target Completion Date, Street Address, City, State, ZIP Code, and Project Notes.
  6. Click Create.

Modifying an Existing Project

  1. Open the project, then click the Information tab to review its current details, including who created it and when it was last updated.
  2. Click Edit to open the same set of fields for editing.
  3. Update any fields you need, including Design Status and Warranty Expiration Date (Labor and Device), which are only available once a project exists.
  4. Click Save.
